The joint coupling comprises a cardan joint for the articulated connection of a drive shaft to a handle in order to rotate the spindle of a roller blind by means of a gear mechanism. In order to secure the drive shaft guided through a bore in the window frame of a building, provision is made for a lead-through plate (7) which is fastened on the window frame and on which the shaft is mounted rotatably. The cardan joint exhibits two cardan-joint forks (11, 12) which each comprise two bearings (13, 14) and at least one pivot pin (17). The cardan-joint forks (11, 12) are cold-pressed from an especially high-strength aluminium alloy. The bearings (13, 14) are made of plastic. The pivot pin (17) is made of stainless steel. <IMAGE>
