A ring back tone playing method, device, and system are provided. The ring back tone playing method includes: confirming whether a called user has customized a called ring back tone service according to requirement from a calling user. A further confirmation is made whether the calling user has customized the ring back tone, if the called user has customized the called ring back tone service. The ring back tone is played to the calling user according to the customized ringing, if the calling user has customized the ring back tone. The method ensures that the calling user can hear the ring chosen by the calling user accurately although the called user has customized ring back tone service. |
