A variable, liquid surface finishing medium consists of a combination of a polymer ammonium compound, a zwitterionic compound and a sulfinate or sulfonate with a betaine group as main components. The medium is diluted with water before use in a ratio between 1:10 and 1:100 and is applied by spraying, dipping or painting on the solid surface of the material used. This finishing medium may be used for rendering hydrophilic various solid surfaces of natural and synthetic organic or inorganic polymers, such as talc, mica, mineral wool, glass, polyester, polyamide, polyurethane, polyacryl nitril compounds or carbon modifications, or of metals, metal alloys or metal oxides. |
