<p>Voltage unit for generating two drive voltages for an electrostatic sepn. filter provided with an ionisation body for introducing a charge to the material particles in an incoming air stream so that the particles sepg. out onto a collector body. The unit generates a high voltage for the ionisation body (which normally draws a certain current) is voltage regulated to a charge current opposing the normal ionisation current and current regulated for higher charge, and is arranged so that a drop in collector body voltage (i.e. a leak of collector body current) will be recognised, so that the current regulator can oppose the drop in the ionisation current and therefore maintain efficient particle sepn.</p> |
