<p>An incandescent electric lamp with a back-up filament. The lamp comprises a main metallic filament which is made incandescent by the passage of current, for the emission of light, located within a glass bulb, and also comprises at least one supplementary filament in the same glass bulb, connected electrically in parallel with the main filament.
