PURPOSE:To reduce the quantized noise of a chrominance carrier signal by applying ACC processing before an analog composite color video signal is converted into a digital signal. CONSTITUTION:A received high frequency signal is applied from an antenna 1 to a tuner 2. A video intermediate frequency signal from the tuner 2 is applied to a video detection circuit 4 through an intermediate frequency amplifier circuit 3. The analog composite color video signal from the video detection circuit 4 is applied to an ACC circuit 10' and the obtained analog composite color signal is applied to an A/D converter, where the signal is digitized. A digital chrominance carrier signal obtained from the separation circuit 7 is applied directly to red and blue color difference demodulating circuits 11, 12. Further, the digital luminance signal is applied to a digital matrix circuit 9 via an amplifier 8. |
