Subcutaneous liposome delivery method

摘要

A method of achieving long-term delivery of a therapeutic compound into the bloodstream is disclosed. The compound is administered subcutaneously in a composition of liposomes having sizes less than about 120 nm, a polyethyleneglycol surface coating, and the compound in entrapped form. Also disclosed is a method of administering a pair of drug compounds for sequential appearance in the bloodstream.
