PURPOSE:To prevent unnecessary initial time display, by providing a clocking processing part having time display function while providing a display control switch between said processing part and a display processing part to indicate ON/OFF of the clocking time display of a time circuit on the basis of the indication of a switch at the switch-ON time of a power source. CONSTITUTION:A clocking processing part 30 has clocking processing function and time display control function and changes over a display control switch 31 on the basis of the indication of a switch S2 at the ON-time of an electric type power source switch 16 to display time. When the switch is turned ON, the processing part 30 is reset initially to output [0:00] and, when the switch S2 indicates display-OFF, the switch 31 is turned OFF by the control signal of the processing part 30. Therefore, when a receiver side power source plug 14 is connected to a plug socket 7 to use a TV image receiver 3, the power source of the image receiver is opened and closed by a remote control unit 2 and, even when the switch 16 is ON, if display-OFF is selected by the switch S2, the output of the processing part 30 is not inputted to a time display processing part 29 and display is automatically prohibited and unnecessary time display (e.g., 02) is prevented. |
