A method for sealing insulated cabinets, particularly for refrigerators and the like, comprising at least one external casing 1 and at least one internal one 3, distanced from each other by an interspace 8 occupied by insulating material foamed in situ, said method envisaging that bodies in foamed material be put into the interspace 8 in correspondence with points or zones where the escape of expanded material is to be prevented, before the phase for the injection of the material to be foamed in situ, and that these bodies 9 are filled loosely into the interspace 8, with the casings already assembled and placed face downwards (figures 2), in such a way as to obtain a random distribution of these bodies in correspondence with the junction zones to seal.

|
