<p>Pneumatic apparatus applicable to tyre valves particularly suitable for ensuring tightness and permitting their pressure to be checked frequently. The device in question is made up essentially of a hollow and transparent casing screwable to valves for tyres. During the pressure stage when screwing it in, an exclusive device contained in it produces a slight air leak from the valve of the tyre itself which fills the cavity of the apparatus at the same pressure as the tyre. A particular sensor which modifies its size in relation to the pressure inside the cavity makes it possible to determine its value. This measurement is possible because the magnitude of the deformation can be correlated to the pressure values by means of appropriate references. Therefore the device not only protects the valve to ensure perfect tightness, but is particularly suitable for frequently checking the pressure of the tyres themselves. <IMAGE></p> |
