Device for braking, crushing, and fragmenting oversized stones. The invention relates to a device which consists, under the effect of the rotation of the rotor (15) equipped with moving hammers (6), (7) and (8) at its periphery, in breaking up the stones for a first time under the action of these hammers, which stones are then driven towards the pre-anvil (1) under the effect of the rotation of the rotor. This pre-anvil presizes the stones roughly, which allows progressive and uniform feeding of the crushing chamber in which the materials undergo forced crushing before coming into contact with the finishing anvil (4) situated at the final exit from the crushing chamber. This finishing anvil articulated on an axle (13) makes it possible to obtain the desired particle size from the driving seat of the tractor, by virtue of adjustment and hydraulic pressure which is variable by means of a hydropneumatic ram (12).
