In a recirculating-element bearing with a plate- or shell-shaped housing (1) into which at least one recirculation groove (2) starting from one end of the housing and closed in its longitudinal direction is machined to receive the rolling elements, the said recirculation groove being composed of a rectilinear track portion (4) for the load-bearing row of rolling elements, a track portion (5) for the returning row of rolling elements and two arc-shaped deflector portions (6) which connect these portions to one another at their ends, and the said bearing having an opening (8) which starts from one end of the housing, extends along the track portion (4) for the load-bearing row of rolling elements and into which is inserted a supporting body (9) for the rolling elements with sloping run-up faces at the ends of its inner track, the opening (8) in the housing (1) and in the supporting body (9) arranged therein extend, according to the invention, in the longitudinal direction of the track portion (4) for the load-bearing row of rolling elements, in each case as far as the vertices (6a) of the deflector portions (6). <IMAGE>
