摘要 The invention relates to a sample collector (1) having collection elements (12, 13, 17) for adsorption of a material which is entrained in a fluid flowing with a velocity, in which a) each collection element (12, 13, 17) can be exposed to fluid, b) each collection element (12, 13, 17) has a velocity-dependent adsorption coefficient for adsorption of material, which coefficient has, at a respective characteristic velocity, a respective maximum value, c) at least two of the characteristic velocities are different from each other, and d) the sum of the adsorption coefficients in a velocity interval assumes a value which essentially corresponds to a mean value (16) formed from the values. On the basis of this essentially constant sum, it is possible to determine, particularly simply, the total quantity of the material entrained in the fluid and/or the concentration of the material from a partial quantity of the material collected in the sample collector (1). <IMAGE>
