The invention relates to an anode nipple alignment machine by means of which the nipples (7, 7', 7'') arranged on the anode spade can be aligned with the aid of transversely mobile alignment elements (16) and associated alignment drives. According to the invention there are arranged, between the alignment elements (16) serving for the alignment of the external nipples (7, 7''), further alignment members (20) by means of which the alignment of the inner nipple(s) can be carried out. These alignment members (20) are situated between the alignment elements (16) serving for aligning the outer nipples and can be moved in the plane thereof, the purpose of driving the alignment elements (16) and the alignment members (20) preferably being served by a common alignment drive. <IMAGE>
