The invention concerns the contact apparatus for oxidation of ammonia, which consists of a housing with a cowling with internal lining and installed between a catalytic system of ammonia oxidation located in the upper part of housing, and an exhaust duct of the nitrous gas located in the lower part of high-temperature heater of end gas, in which pipes of the high-temperature heater of end gas are located between two tube plates vertically located against each other in the housing with internal lining, with branch pipes for supply-removal of end gas; moreover the form of pipe in the horizontal plane is U-shaped, in which the ends of the pipes are directed to the opposite sides for their coupling with the tube plates, and the rounded part is directed to the side of the cowling of housing. |
