Method for the production of a plastically formed product

The method for the production of plastically formed products prevents the formation of cracks during plastic forming and thereby increases productivity. The method also prevents the metallic particles which form the product from adopting a large and coarse structure. In the production process, only the compaction and evacuation are carried out before extrusion, and the pressure/heat treatment is not carried out. The process steps preceding extrusion are therefore simplified and productivity of the plastically formed products is improved and the metallic particles are prevented from becoming large and coarse. The diffusion treatment between extrusion and forging increases cohesion in the radial direction within the extruded material and the formation of cracks during plastic forming is thereby avoided.
