<p>A method of operating a two stroke cycle crankcase scavenged internal combustion engine comprising selectively delivering exhaust gas from a location (6) downstream of an engine exhaust port (5) to a crankcase (7) associated with at least one engine cylinder (1) and into an induction system of the engine upstream of an entrance (4) to the crankcase. An engine with means to use this method is also claimed.</p> |
