The effects, brought about by the increasing motor-vehicle thefts, on the steadily rising costs of insuring motor vehicles are known. Also known are the accidents which take place and are possible in the case of leaking braking systems. According to the invention, a solid object which is resilient to a limited extent is introduced into the volume of the existing oil-pulse braking system, and anchored therein, when the vehicle is at a standstill and parked. Thereafter, the vehicle is fully braked. In the event of manipulation to the braking system, by way of the ventilation nipple, an optical or acoustic, or optical and acoustic, alarm is emitted. This alarm can be extended to transmitting the alarm on the police transmission frequency. Only a raising-up operation, in the same plane with heavy-duty equipment, is still possible. However, upon setting the vehicle down, possibly on a platform, or driving away the transporting vehicle, in particular on uneven roads, the installed alarm transmission is triggered. If the road is even, then starting-up, braking, due to the action of the parking brake, or the centrifugal force around a bend, become the triggering force for the beginning of the alarm signal. Consequently, tyre theft is likewise, of course, ruled out. If the alarm signal goes off without exterior manipulation, then the vehicle cannot be driven and is thus ready for the workshop. The seals of the braking system have to be exchanged; they are already worn. This system can be implemented immediately and aids ... the ever-increasing thefts ... Original abstract incomplete.
