The Chap-puzzle is a puzzle which consists of parts which can slide on the surface of a rigid support. These parts have a specific geometry and are "attached" to the rigid support by means of a projection. The rigid support has grooves in which slide the projections of the parts. The number of grooves and the path they follow depend on the geometric form of the support: spherical, cubic (other forms may be envisaged such as cylindrical, polyhedral etc.), and on the number and form of the parts "attached" to the rigid support. The parts and the supports constitute a compact assembly. If the parts show different colours, letters or patterns, a different arrangement is obtained for each move of the puzzle. Three puzzles following the above principles are proposed, two having a spherical support and a third with a cubic support.
