The invention relates to a hollow body for electrical installation, consisting of an accommodation space for electrical devices such as lights, sockets (boxes), terminals or the like. Such a hollow body has retaining means in order to fix it on one boundary of a hollow wall, especially on the lower boundary of a suspended ceiling. Such a hollow body is intended to be installed at the rear during the installation of ceilings.
