摘要 An automatic irrigation system for controlling flow to multiple zones. The system uses a decentralized control system wherein localized controllers are used for each zone. The controllers operate valves, pumps and/or headgates within each zone. The valves, pumps and/or headgates in association with each controller all direct flow from a common water supply source. A pressure transducer (5) indicates the water pressure in the supply line and sends a signal to each controller (6) which determines whether or not a zone pump is running at optimum efficiency and the controller determines whether or not to actuate the valves, pumps and/or headgates. The controller is programmed by the operator with a keyboard interface (1).
