The electromagnetic valve according to the invention has a magnet armature (18) interacting with a valve member (37). A compression spring (41) acts on the magnet armature (18). The preloading of this compression spring (41) can be varied by an adjusting screw (43). In order to reduce the effects, resulting during varying temperatures, of the different pressure-medium viscosities on the characteristic curve of the proportional valve, the adjusting screw (43) has a freely guided section (46) and is made of a material whose coefficient of thermal expansion is greater than that of the magnet housing (10). Thus the hydraulic resistance, likewise variable during varying pressure-medium viscosity, at the valve member or valve seat can be at least partly compensated for. <IMAGE> |
