The invention relates to a device for influencing the position of parts of electrically conductive, non-ferromagnetic material (in particular aluminium) and preferably for transporting and/or sorting such parts on a transport section. According to the invention, permanent-magnetic field spiders (1) are used for influencing the position or transporting or for sorting the said parts. By eddy-current formation, the field spiders (1) exert a specific force, influencing the position, on the said parts. For example, a rotating field spider (1) can be arranged in the discharge drum (13) of a conveyor belt (19).
