摘要 In the method, a carrier signal is modulated at the transmitting end with the digital signal (DI) containing a special bit string and, at the receiving end, a clock signal (T0) is obtained from the carrier signal, from which clock signal n auxiliary clock signals (e.g. T1...T4), with clock phase angles in each case shifted through 360 DEG /n in relation to one another, are derived. Through sampling of the digital signal (DI) at the receiving end with the n auxiliary clock signals (e.g. T1...T4), n individual digital signals (e.g. D1...D4) are produced which are in each case compared with a pre-defined bit string. The auxiliary clock signal (T...) and the associated individual digital signal (D...) are selected which, for the special bit string contained therein, show the closest correspondence to the pre-defined bit string. It is advantageous in this method that the auxiliary clock signals are derived directly from the clock signal obtained from the recovered carrier signal rather than from the digital signal itself. The special bit string in the digital signal and the pre-defined bit string enable the selection of an auxiliary clock signal and the associated individual digital signal with the reciprocally most favourable clock phase angle. <IMAGE>
