摘要 The invention relates to a process for producing high-strength and high-toughness shaped articles from 2-phase TiAl/Ti3Al alloys by superplastic shaping, which are processed thermomechanically and which are characterised by a modified microstructure. The characterising feature of the invention is that the cast blank is produced with a lamella microstructure having a thickness of the lamellae smaller than/equal to 1 mu m, is shaped (formed) in the temperature range from 1050 to 1300 DEG C with a high deformation strain with dynamic recrystallisation with grain sizes less than 5 mu m and is superplastically reshaped in the temperature range from 900 to 1100 DEG C at extension rates of from 10<-4> to 10<-1>/s to give shaped articles close to the final dimensions.
