<p>A security system (21) for use with a vehicle having an internal combustion engine (10) which is controlled by a management system (11). The security system (21) includes a control circuit (22) which is used to suppress data signals to or from the management system (11) to prevent engine operation. The security system (21) may include a touch switch circuit (29) which when actuated causes the control circuit (22) to be placed in a mode permitting operation of the engine (10). The system (21) may also include a door opening sensitive circuit (31) which when actuated causes the engine (10) to cease operating.</p> |
