The invention relates to a magnetic field sensor in the form of a bridge circuit, for measuring magnetic fields of low strength. The arrangement according to the invention consists of a bridge circuit comprising bridge resistors made of magnetoresistive film strips having the same longitudinal direction, in which the surfaces (1) of the magnetoresistive film strips (2) of each bridge resistor (5, 6, 7, 8) are insulatedly covered by at least one flat conductor (3). In this case, the longitudinal direction of this flat conductor, in which direction current flows through it, makes a right angle with the direction of the magnetoresistive film strips (2). The terminals of the flat conductors (3) can be connected to one another in various ways. Advantageously, the bridge circuit and the flat conductors (3) are arranged integrated on a substrate. <IMAGE>
