Piperidine derivatives represented by general formula (I) wherein A represents a straight or branched saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon chain containing from 2 to 6 carbon atoms; R<1> and R<2> represent various heterocycles, X is -O- or substituted nitrogen, Y is =O, =S or =NZ, wherein Z is hydrogen, C1-6-alkyl or -CN; the compounds are useful in the treatment of indications related to the CNS-system, cardiovascular system or gastrointestinal disorders.
