The identification display has a carrier plate (1) for the display with 4 rear ratchet lugs (2a,2b,2c,2d) for locating in a pair of parallel ratchet slots, provided by the electrical/electronic component. Each of the ratchet lugs has a pair of ratchet surfaces (3a,3b), which are offset from one another by 90 degrees. Pref. the ratchet lugs are arranged in aligned pairs (2a,2b;2c,2d) with the lugs in each pair offset by 90 degrees relative to one another, the spacing between the lugs in each aligned pair being less than the spacing between the aligned pairs. |
