The invention relates to the conservation of cut flowers and ornamental greenery with direct refrigeration of the water, comprising at least one open bin (1) for containing cut flowers and accompanying greenery, said bin (1) being provided with means (2) for directly cooling the water, which means (2) are solid to the bin (1) and which means (2) enable a number of water changes; each bin (1) being in communication with a next bin (1) such as to cause the water to pass from one bin to another; a hollow space (9) being provided for containing the means for cooling (2).
