A vehicle mounted AC generator comprising a regulator assembly attached to the bracket of the AC generator, wherein a regulator holding section provided in the regulator assembly has a containing section in which the entire circumferential edge of at least an opening is surrounded by a wall body, the circuit section of the regulator is contained in the containing section through the opening, the heat sink of the regulator is held in the containing section with the circumferential edge portion being bonded to the wall body surrounding the entire circumferential edge of the opening so as to close the opening, and the containing section is provided with resin filling the periphery of the thus-contained circuit section. ® KIPO & WIPO 2009
