PURPOSE:To enhance transfer efficiency and reduce the number of voids generated, by providing an ink layer comprising a polyolefin or derivative thereof, an acrylic resin and a coloring material on a heat-resistance base to form a thermal transfer recording medium. CONSTITUTION:An ink layer comprising a polyolefin or derivative thereof, an acrylic resin and a coloring material is laminated on a heat-resistant base to obtain a thermal transfer recording medium. On an ink to be corrected which has been transferred onto a recording material by using the medium, the same thermal transfer recording medium as that used for printing is laid, followed by heating to melt both the transferred ink to be corrected and the ink layer of the thermal transfer recording medium. After cooling the melted materials, the medium and the recording material are released from each other, whereby the part to be corrected is released from the recording medium, and is transferred to the thermal transfer recording medium. |
