The solution is based on dissociation of hydrofluoride molecules in measured gas at dividing line of resinous electrode (2) and solid electrolyte (1) and on the transport of produced fluoride ions through the solid electrolyte (1) to the positive electrode (3) by influence of unidirectional electric field making potential difference 1.2 to 1.9 V between the electrodes (2, 3). Inflow of the hydrofluoride molecules to the said dividing line is regulated in order to the concentration of the hydrofluride ions on dividing lines equals to zero. Device for determining the concentration of hydrofluoride consists of plate of solid electrolyte (1) with thickness at least 0.1 mm, on the opposite sides of which there are resinous and positive electrodes placed (2, 3) with thickness at least 0.1 um, which are connected by metal lead-ins with the poles of regulated unidirectional electric supply. The whole unit is placed in the metal case (7) resistant to fluoride effect, in which there is from the resinous electrode side (2) at least one whole infalling to the measured gas. The whole device is placed in the stove, which keeps up its temperature at the value providing to the solid electrolyte (1) with fast conductivity by fluoride ions conductivity at least 10exp(-3) Sm(-1).
