The irregular abrasion occuring at tread shoulder part can be minimized by regulating the radius of ground-contacting rib edge in producing steel-reinforced rib pattern for truck or bus tires. The radius of tread is different at every rib after curing to prevent irregular wear and to increase the total mileage, and the radius of arc of the rib edge part is regulated at 5-15 m/m.
