PURPOSE:To enable correction printing without separately forming the printing data corresponding to a correction place by detecting the correction place based on corrected printing data and the data at the time of printing to automatically erase the correction place and performing the printing of correction data to this part. CONSTITUTION:At the time of the printing of a manuscript, at first, the manuscript printing data from a host device 14 is stored in the memory device 16 of a control unit 13 and the fixing ratio in a fixing device 7 is lowered to perform semi-fixing printing. This printed manuscript is inspected and correction is appropriately performed by the host device 14. Corrected printing data and manuscript printing data are mutually compared by the control unit 13 and the corrected printing data at a time when no coincidence is obtained and a printing place are stored in the memory device 16. After the final manuscript printing data is formed, a correction printing mode is selected and semi-fixed manuscript paper is inserted in a manual paper feed part and, after the printing of a correction part is erased with respect to the paper concerned by an erasing device 12, the corrected data is printed. |
