PURPOSE:To provide a device receiving the MUSE system High Vision signal. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a still picture processing circuit 4 applying time base directional processing only to a high frequency signal of 4MHz or over subjected to band division by a band division filter 9, a re- forming filter 10 synthesizing the processed high frequency signal and a low frequency signal into a still picture signal, a motion picture processing circuit 3 applying in-field processing to all bands, and an animation/still picture changeover circuit 7 selecting an animation signal or a still picture signal depending on the motion of the picture to output the selected signal. |
