PURPOSE:To provide a no-backlash preventing means for a positioning means and a drive gear when a plate, a blanket, and the like are fitted to a cylinder body of a plate cylinder, a blanket cylinder and others. CONSTITUTION:In a printing press, a cylindrical shell, such as a plate or a blanket, is closely fitted to a cylinder body 3b of a plate cylinder, a blanket cylinder, or other printing cylinder 3. The printing cylinder 3 is provided with air blow holes 3b radially provided on the cylinder body 3b on the shell insertion side thereof; a stepped large-diameter part 3e formed on the end of the cylinder body on the side opposite to the shell insertion side; and an engaging member for fixing the shell to the cylinder body 3b after being fitted to the cylinder body 3b. |
