<p>PURPOSE:To provide a developer for an electrostatic charge image having satisfactory flowability, cleanability and suitability to high-speed fixation, excellent in environmental stability and durability, not wearing or damaging the surface of a photoreceptor, the surface of a carrier or the surface of an electric charge imparting member, not causing toner filming phenomenon and having stable excellent developing property and transferability. CONSTITUTION:In a one- or two-component developer using a toner based on a bonding resin and a colorant, fine particles of silicone resin having amino or ammonium groups are added to the toner. In the case of the two-component developer, the relation of 2¦T(T)¦>=¦T(a)¦ is satisfied between the amt. T(T) of electric charges by the toner before addition and a carrier and the amt. T(a) of electric charges by the fine particles of silicone resin and the carrier. In the case of the one-component developer, the relation of 2¦T(S)¦>=¦T(b)¦ is satisfied between the amt. T(S) of electric charges by the toner before addition and an electric charge imparting member and the amt. T(b) of electric charges by the fine particles of silicone resin and the electric charge imparting member.</p> |
