MAGNETIC RECORDING MEDIUM AND ITS PRODUCTION

摘要

PURPOSE:To easily produce a magnetic recording medium card remarkably difficult of unauthorized use by forming a discontinuous pattern by a theremosensitive recording system in a laminate consisting of a thin film of a low m.p. metal and a magnetic thin film disposed on a magnetic recording layer. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic recording layer 23 of a magnetic substance having 200-5,000 Oe coercive force, an adhesive layer 3, a thin film 4 of a low m.p. metal having <=300 deg.C m.p., a magnetic thin film 5 and a protective layer 6 are laminated on a nonmagnetic substrate 1. A discontinuous pattern 7 of ID information such as a fingerprint is then formed in the layers 5, 6 by a thermo sensitive recording system using a thermal head. The objective magnetic recording medium card remarkably difficut of unauthorized use and easy to produce is obtd.
