PURPOSE:To obtain a n IC card having a thin body and simple structure and capable of easily replacing a battery by including a cover body provided with a cylinder having an engaging part extender up to the vicinity of the other step and a saucer body provided with a cylinder having an engaging part to be inserted into the inside or outside of the cylinder of the cover body so as to be engaged with its engaging part. CONSTITUTION:The IC card has a through hole 3 formed on its body 1 and having respective steps 2a, 2b on the front and rear sides, and the cover body a provided with a flange 5 to be engaged with one side step 2a and a cylindrical body 6 having an engaging part 7 to be inserted from the flange 5 to the through hole 3 and extended up to the vicinity of the other side step 2b together with the saucer body 8 provided with a flange 9 to be engaged with the other side step 2b and a cylindrical body 10 having a storing part for storing a battery E on the one side step and the engaging part 11 to be inserted from the flange 9 along the inside or outside of the cylindrical body 10 and engaged with the engaging part 7 of the body 6. When the battery E is stored in the saucer body 8 and the cover body 4 and the saucer body 8 are respectively inserted from the front and rear sides of the through hole 3, the engaging parts 7, 11 of both the bodies 4, 8 are mutually engaged and set integrally on the body. |
