PURPOSE:To provide a surface mount component capable of being shape- recognized by means of a high-speed surface mount component mounting unit equipped with a visual recognition function of conventional reflection method, without depending on the appearance of that armoring form body, in the surface mount components for use in various electronic equipments. CONSTITUTION:A configuration is such that a part has two electrode terminals 12 consisting of a hexagonal armoring form body 11 where an armor is formed and a metal plate such as a coil component that is positioned on the bottom of the armor 11, a rectangular glossing surfaces 13 formed by polishing the center section of the bottom and two electrode terminals 12 are phase- symmetrically positioned with the bottom being the center, and the glossing surface 13 is positioned between two electrode terminals 12. |
