PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition having a specific structure and cholecystokinin antagonism and useful as a medicine for preventing and treating pancreatitis, cholecyst disorder, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition of formula I [X is O, formula II (R<4> is lower alkyl) or CH2; A is CH2 or CH2CH2; R<1> is aryl; R<2> is H; R<3> is phenyl which may be substituted with halogen, lower alkyl, etc., indanyl, etc., or a group of formula III (R<5> is lower alkyl; Y is halogen; a group of the formula IV is a group of formula V (R<6> is carboxy)].
