PURPOSE:To accurately rotate and stop a rotor to and at a set position at the time of stopping the rotor by generating a holding torque when the rotor is rotated to a next step by only exciting one phase after rotating the rotor one step by simultaneously exciting two phases. CONSTITUTION:A rotor is rotated by only exciting one phase and such a rotational torque that rotates the rotor to a next step is temporarily applied to the rotor immediately before stopping the rotor by inverting the exciting current of an exciting coil of the other phase which turns off the exciting current. When the rotational torque applying time is appropriately selected, the rotor is accurately rotated to and stopped at an aimed position. |
