摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce a run-up shock by supplying hydraulic fluid from a hydraulic pressure supply system to an engagement clutch for causing the engagement of a reduction gear mechanism in an automatic transmission, and selecting a speed, while controlling the engagement state of the clutch with the hydraulic fluid. CONSTITUTION:The engagement hydraulic pressure control means 11 of a control means 7 performs the control of the hydraulic pressure of an engagement clutch 9, on the basis of information from a travel speed sensor 4, a throttle position sensor 3, a rotation synchronization detection means 5, an idling state detection means 6 and a throttle on-state detection means 12. In this case, when a throttle is not turned on until the preset time elapses after the detection of the rotation synchronization state of the clutch 9, hydraulic pressure is gradually increased at a specific growth rate to give complete engagement pressure, upon the elapse of the preset time. When the throttle is turned to be on-state, the engagement hydraulic pressure gradually increases at the specific growth rate during the elapse of the preset time from that state until the pressure becomes equal to or above the prescribed value. Thereafter, the pressure is made to increase in steps up to the complete engagement pressure.
