PURPOSE:To provide a defrosting controller for an air-conditioning machine, which permits defrosting operation even during heating operation and does not give uncomfortable sense. CONSTITUTION:The controller is provided with a capillary tube 5 for bypassing and a solenoid valve 7 for bypassing in series to a bypass circuit 10, in which a gas side pipeline 2 at the compressor 102 side of an outdoor heat exchanger 1 and a lowpressure side pipeline 8 at the suction side of the compressor 102 upon cooling operation are connected through branch pipes 3, 9, while a refrigeating cycle circuit 6 and a bypass circuit 10 are passed through the inside of the outdoor heat exchanger 1.
