AUTOMATIC OPENING/CLOSING DEVICE FOR DOOR BODY AND THIN BELT MATERIAL THEREOF

PURPOSE:To automatically open or close an expansion gate. CONSTITUTION:A steel thin belt material 12 roll-formed into a downward curved C-shape and having a cross sectional shape for preventing buckling is used. It is freely wound on a winding shaft 14 and is made feedable in both directions of an expansion gate 1 by a pair of rollers 30 driven by a motor 40 to form an automatic opening/closing device A. One end of the thin belt material 12 is fixed to the door tip side frame 2a of the expansion gate 1, and the winding shaft 14 is fixed to a suspension base side vertical frame 6. The thin belt material 12 presses the door tip side frame 2a with the buckling resistance against the opening/closing load, and the expansion gate 1 can be automatically opened or closed.
