<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a picture of high quality by filtering a picture including a still picture and a moving picture without losing original picture information. CONSTITUTION:This picture processor is provided with space filters 4, 5 in which operation coefficients to be changed by each picture element are respectively set up, a coefficient storing means 24 storing plural groups of filter operation coefficient patterns to be set up in the filters 4, 5, a motion detecting means 6 for detecting a difference between the picture element value of an input picture obtained before the processing of the filters 4, 5 and a picture element value obtained before one field of the input picture and outputting a prescribed coefficient selecting signal in accordance with the detection value, and a coefficient selecting means for selecting filter operation coefficient patterns from the means 24 based upon the coefficient selecting signal outputted from the mean 6 and setting up the selected patterns in the filters 4, 5.</p> |
