PURPOSE:To obtain an optical fiber coil for an optical fiber sensor to detect strain in a vibrating body or a physical amt. to be converted into strain of a vibrating body by using such an optical fiber coil to which optical fibers easy to be broken can be surely wound in a spiral without loss and adhered. CONSTITUTION:This optical fiber coil is used for an optical fiber sensor to detect strain in a vibrating body or a physical amt. converted into strain of a vibrating body. This optical fiber coil is produced by the following method. Two pressing sheets 11, 12 which are treated to prevent adhesion with an adhesive are stacked with a space almost same as the diameter of the optical fiber 14. Then the optical fiber with an adhesive is wound between two plates 11, 12.
