The present invention provides a compound which is a quinoline derivative of the formula (I) <IMAGE> (I) in which R1 represents either 1H-tetrazol-5-yl, or CO2H, R2 represents either (C1-7)alkyl or (C2-6)alkenyl, R3 and R4 represent, independently of each other, hydrogen, halogen, cyano group, (C1-7)alkyl, (C3-7)cycloalkyl(C1-4)alkyl, aryl, aryl(C1-4)alkyl, aryl(C2-6)alkenyl, -(CH2)m-COR5 in which m=0 to 4 and R5 represents hydrogen, -OH, -(C1-6)alkoxy, or -NR7R8, R7 and R8 representing, independently of each other, hydrogen or -(C1-4)alkyl group, or a -(CH2)n-R6 group in which n=1 to 4 and R6 represents -OH, -(C1-6)alkoxy, -(C1-4)alkoxy -(C1-4)alkoxy, or (C3-7)cycloalkyl(C1-4)alkoxy group, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and their therapeutic applications.
