PURPOSE:To provide an automatic focusing device for following an object beyond an aimed limit in the case that the object is a moving body. CONSTITUTION:As to the automatic focusing device provided with a driving means 16 for automatically driving a focusing lens 21, the device is provided with a limiting means 15 for limiting the driving extent of the driving means 16, a moving body deciding means for deciding whether or not the object is the moving body and a limit releasing means 35 for releasing the limit by the limiting means 15 in the case of judging that the object is the moving body by the moving body deciding means. |
